Catholic Swarovski World Mission Rosary by Archbishop Fulton Sheen

This beautiful multi colored Swarovski crystal rosary has deep meaning. The Wold Mission Rosary was the creation of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, designed to help us meditate on the mission of evangelization to the whole world. There has never been a better time for this devotion!

This design uses 6mm Swarovski crystal rounds for the Aves and 8mm for the Paters. The center depicts a color photo of the Sacred Heat of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Both the center and crucifix have beautiful detail and are made in Italy. I used emerald, Capri blue, white opal AB, light Siam and Sunflower to represent the colors of the world. I used silver plated eye pins, each link turned by hand.

The colors represent...

Green...for the forests and grasslands of Africa.
Blue...for the ocean surrounding the islands of the Pacific.
White...symbolizing Europe, the seat of the Holy Father, shepherd of the world.
Red...calling to mind the fire of faith that brought missionaries to the Americas.
Yellow...the morning light of the east, for Asia.

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen inaugurated a World Mission Rosary during his radio address, The Catholic Hour. “We must pray, and not for ourselves, but for the world,” he exhorted. “To this end, I have designed the World Mission Rosary.” Praying this Rosary, Archbishop Sheen said, would “aid the Holy Father and his Society for the Propagation of the Faith by supplying him with practical support, as well as prayers, for the poor mission territories of the world.”

Your rosary will come to you in a leatherette rosary pouch, along with a laminated prayer card listing all the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. Your rosary can be blessed as a sacramental.
